You can reach out to Mariana with any questions about LEAFS A&S Display or Makers’ Green via email.

Arts & Sciences Displays:

We welcome displays that fall into the categories of equestrian, agriculture, forestry, or coursing. This could be tea that you’ve made from herbs from your garden, a bridle you crafted, a basket woven of pine needles, or anything else you can think of! Similar to the classes at the event, we encourage you to be expansive in your consideration of categories when it comes to displays.

While the display area will be open for all days of the event, it will be staff facilitated only on Saturday. Please refer to the event schedule for the official drop off and pick up times times of the A&S Displays. Upon arrival to the display area, individuals can indicate whether or not they would like to receive feedback. Mariana will arrange a token or small bowl to go next to the displays who do want feedback to collect index cards with feedback on them. People viewing displays who want to give feedback to the displayers that have indicated they want feedback can get those index cards at the main table and Mariana will bring a stash of writing utensils for use. We ask that you respect displayer’s consent on whether they want to receive feedback or not, and do not give it to those who have not requested it.

Individuals choosing to display should plan to bring a table or other necessary settings for their presentation.

Makers’ Green:

We are setting aside space for a Makers’ Green! We are following Countess Serena Kimbalwyke’s lead for how to organize this activity at LEAFS. She put together this Craftperson’s Green FAQ Document in 2021, and has kindly allowed us to utilize it for answering your questions! As of March 1, 2025, due to staffing, we are looking to feature the official LEAFS Makers’ Green on Saturday. Please refer to the event schedule for the official start and end times of the Makers’ Green.

For those of you wanting a short gist, this is an opportunity to show off your A&S project – as you make it! We welcome artisans of all levels and types to come and work on your project at LEAFS. You will need to bring a chair, table, or anything else you will need to happily do your craft.
