Welcome to Learning Equestrian, Agriculture, and Forestry Symposium!

Thank you to THL Gesa van Wellenstein for the logo

This event is meant to give an educational avenue for those activities that don’t fit into a typical classroom or university setting — namely Equestrian, Agricultural A&S, and Forestry. We have now also added Coursing to our offerings, even if it  isn’t  in the acronym! Join us in the great outdoors to work on your equine riding skills, work on plant identification, learn how to track through the woods — and much more!

We will have sit down classes as well about historic topics, so don’t worry if you don’t physically do any of those things, you are still welcome and we would love for you to come learn with us. We also welcome friends who teach armor making, arrow construction, and other similar topics. If your class relates in some way to equestrian, agriculture, forestry, or coursing, we welcome it!

We hope you will join us at this education-focused event!

Patuxent River Park is a scenic site, with wooded trails as well as open fields. There is the river nearby, as well as streams nestled in the wooded hills. This is a great site to lead a saunter, teach a class over a fire, introduce a special interest topic, coordinate a craft, or whatever else you can dream of!
